Available in several pitches, and for speeds of 40, 80, or 120 cartons/min, the FA60 can form cartons, display cartons or trays from a flat blank. Automatic loads products by single or multiple servo pick-and-place system that can load products of nearly any orientation, including cartons, bottles, vials, ampoules, pouches, tubes, etc. Products may be loaded vertically, either in a singular method or pre-collated, grouped and/or stacked in any fashion. Balcony design assures cleanliness and ease of access. Mechanical drives and machine movements provide for seamless and quiet operation with low maintenance.

The FA models stands for versatility and can be used for a variety of products and carton types. Food, pharmaceutical, consumer, confectionery or tobacco products can all be reliably packed into a carton/tray/display.

The FA packaging machine is a monobloc with “Balcony” construction. Making it a highly flexible, clear and easy to access to the machine with outstanding operating simplicity. The modular design allows for different versions of trays, wrap-arounds or cartons with lids. Many combinations of these configurations is also possible.

Thanks to the flexibility of the FA cartoner, the manipulation of product collation and their insertion into a carton can be achieved with Top Loading or Side Loading capability. Starting from a flat blank that is picked-up from a magazine, filling it with the product(s) and, as a final step, closing it in one of the various options, depending on the packaging style needed.

Like the other models from BERGAMI, the FA cartoner has a minimum overall dimension; it uses accurate mechanical and servo driven movements and reliable product feeding systems. Size change-over is very quick and simple; it is carried out with adjustments made through digital indicators positioned on the front of the machine.

Bergami is proud to announce the latest addition to our world class line of secondary packing machinery, the new Bergami P15 Palletizer. The Bergami P15 was born out of necessity for a simple, reliable and easy to program palletizing system to fit behind our line of casepackers. Bergami has achieved this with very simple HMI based programming and off the shelve servo control that does have the normal requirements of pendant for training/programming or third party robotics integration. Bergami can supply the P15 palletizer as an inexpensive standalone system or mono-block system fully integrated with our casepackers. The Bergami P15 is available in single or dual cell configurations with integration of labelers scanners, cameras and reject station at the customer’s request. Output data available for serialization and track & trace applications. Maximum load capacity is up to 30Kgs (66 pounds).

Bergami announces the latest addition to their Tube Filling and closing Systems the model TF200. Designed with the new “in-Line” approach and orbital track which accepts empty tubes vertically for filling and closing: this allows the new machine to be built on a cantilevered basis (Balcony Design) for ease of cleaning to GMP standards and gives the operator clear access to all parts. Also, closing systems to handle plastic and aluminum tubes can be readily mounted side by side, for immediate changeover.

The orbital track carries quick-release magnetically secured holders for the tube which are fed in vertically and rotated to bring print into register.
Following this, if requested there is a tube-cleaning station employing a vacuum suck-blow system.
As the track passes round the end of the loop the tube holders presents the tubes ready for filling.
Servo drives are employed for the dosing system, providing programmable changeover in the volume range 3-350ml, and to elevate the tube holders up to the two filling nozzles, Servo drive also allows on-the-run adjustment from the control panel should humidity, temperature, viscosity or other variables cause changes in product flow.
The dosing system, together with a hot air sealing station for plastic or laminate tubes and/or folding tools for aluminum tubes, is supported on an upper frame, which is simply raised or lowered via handwheel to cater for different length tubes. Filled and sealed tubes then pass along the track, down the other end of the loop and transferred gently horizontally into the cartoner feeder.
As option is available that the tubes are picked from their holders and placed automatically in the infeed buckets of the cartoner. This pick-and-place arrangement prevents risk of scuffing and ensures that the tubes lie in the correct orientation for the side-load cartoner.
Servo drives are used throughout the TF 200 range to provide electronic adjustment via the touchscreen control panel for size changeover of most machine functions via the PC control system within 12 minutes. This consistent use of servo drives makes virtually all cams in conventional tube fillers obsolete “Product dependent cam adjustments such as stroke settings, timing adjustments or even filling cam settings now lie in the past, since movement characteristics can be set and adjusted by programming the servo motors.
Movement profiles can now be optimised, which could not previously be achieved by cams.

BERGAMI has succesfully installed the cartoner model ASV60 Pharma for the packing of Vials and Ampoules with inner protection partition at ASTRAZENECA Plant in Milan.
Total protection of the vials and the ampoules that are secured into the cardboard partition in two different point of the product body. This cartons sample was tested from TUV from very severe shipping test simulation and the resulthas shown that no other solution available on the market are better or equal.
The final product presentation of the carton is with double-layer cardboard in lateral sides and the product can not have the possibility of any contacts with the external sides of the pack. Easy removal of the product and re-closing of the carton, the remaining product will remain secure and in place into the carton.
